Namrata Jain was raised in NYC. She pursued her education at the Columbia University where she double-majored in Economics and Asian Studies. She is an experienced Kathak dancer, who has now ventured towards authoring children’s books based on themes that are rooted in culture and tradition. Her previously published works include the Namaste series trilogy.

In this age of modern technology and social media, she wishes to offer a contemporary alternative that retains traditional perspectives and morals to help children understand diverse perspectives through her books.
