Simone Küng has loved art since childhood, when she would spend hours around the dining room table drawing with her sisters. Her passion led her to become an elementary school art teacher, and she has been helping young students embrace their creativity in the classroom for more than 15 years. She wrote Bad Artist after noticing her students' struggles with self-doubt, aiming to challenge negative attitudes and redefine what it means to be a “good” artist.
