He amalgamated the political and philosophical themes to address the issues of the century and wrote extensively in a wide range of genres such as epics, novels, poems, dramas, speeches, essays, letters, etc. He was even elected to the French Academy and regarded as a nNational hHero for his literary accomplishments.
